Collection of colorful electronic gimmicks, simply and directly taken from the modular system. All tracks are created by feedbacking individual modules. By limiting the devices and individual types of sound generation, minimalvolt does not claim to be complete or precise in terms of composition.
Much more it is about the creative process of experimental sound shaping, which becomes evident in numerous sonic "miniatures".

Melos
Melos is a reminiscence of the archaic roots of sound art - produced with analog modular systems.
The individual recordings with a length of up to eleven minutes are shortened excerpts from potentially unlimited variations of sound and silence, driven by a generative modular concept.
Scattering Parts is a compilation of modular compositions based on random processes. The only sound source is a single analog oscillator (Serge, NewTimbralOscillaror), manipulated by control voltages and controlled by a sequencer. Filters and analog sound processing are also generatively controlled. The sound material passes through a resonance equalizer, which is responsible for the physical warmth and the organic character of sound.
A key question in the genesis of these pieces of music is the investigation of electronic sound sources in their tonal character and the adaptation to the expressive possibilities of acoustic instruments.
